What is the Weekender?

The Weekender is the pathway for you to move from simply attending New City on the weekends to being connected in a meaningful way to the church. You will transition from being ‘connected to the crowd’ to ‘committed to the family’.

Each Weekender is hold on Sunday right after our service, you’ll hear from our staff and learn more about New City’s mission, who we are, and what we are all about. It’s designed to help you go from being part of the crowd to being part of the family.

You’ll also have the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at how our weekend serve teams function. You’ll discover how your gifts can play a part in what God is doing at New City.

We believe that having a meal with someone new is one of the best ways to connect in community. That’s why we offer lunch as a part of the Weekender so you can truly connect with those who may also be newer to New City. We are excited to have you join us!

Need childcare? Childcare is provided on site for the Weekender experience for free.

Be a Part of the Family!

At the Weekender, you will hear the story of New City, what we believe and you will also have a chance to interact with our staff and ask any questions you may have about our church. You also will see how God can weave you and your gifts into the story of New City. Every believer is called to be a part of the church and to utilize the gifts and talents God has given them to serve for the sake of the Gospel.
