Membership at New City Church

Below are New City Church's Statement of Faith and Bylaws. To become a partner (church member) at New City Church, below are the neccessary steps:

1. Attend the Weekender

2. Read and affirm our Statement of Faith and Bylaws

3. Meet with a New City Church elder 

4. Read and commit to fulfilling the partnership expectations to the best of your ability by God's grace and with his help

5. Sign the partnership agreement below (note, a meeting must take place with an elder before your signing of the partnership covenant will be accepted)

Statement of FaithBylaws

New City Church and her leaders covenant together to:

  • To provide teaching and counsel from the whole Scripture.

  • To provide leadership that reflects our Chief Shepherd’s love, care, and protection of the sheep.

  • To prayerfully seek God’s will for our church and steward her resources to the best of our ability based on our study of the Scriptures and following of the Spirit. 

  • To equip members to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

As a member at New City Church, I covenant to:

  • Seek to walk with Jesus in a relationship that is growing and vibrant.

  • Seek to live in a manner worthy of the gospel in all of my relationships (both inside and outside of New City).

  • Make disciples of Jesus where I live, work, and play. 

  • Participate in community through gathered worship and by pursuing a Community Group

  • Serve God by serving at New City in a way that glorifies Jesus.

  • Give to the mission in a way that is cheerful and sacrificial.

  • Submit to spiritual authority in decisions that are made.

  • Pray for the well-being and health of your church and Her leaders.
